Biography and Qualifications
Michael M. Haniff is the co-founder of HM Healthcare Partners, LLC. As the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Scientific Affairs, Michael is responsible for business development as well as clinical development throughout the Chicagoland area for the company. Haniff is a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) candidate. Haniff completed his Master of Science (M.S.) in clinical research administration summa cum laude from RUSH University Medical Center in 2015, earning him the prestigious Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
During his tenure at PRIME Education, Haniff was introduced to the many facets that health education brought to clinicians as a result of successful clinical trials. Michael’s first hands-on experience with clinical trials stemmed from his sister’s clinical diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, where he encouraged her to participate in a study investigating the first oral medication for the disease. Since then, Haniff has managed a wealth of studies across a significant number of therapeutic areas with large community and academic medical centers. Haniff is responsible for all research study contract negotiations as well as regulatory compliance at the local, state, and federal levels. In addition to these administrative tasks, Michael manages the daily needs of the company’s clinical sites.
Haniff holds research certifications from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has presented research projects on a national level at a variety of annual medical society symposiums and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
